TIMWE is finalist in the Meffys Awards

TIMWE is a finalist in the Meffys Awards in the category Content Discovery & Personalisation, with project SMS Cinema Guide, in partnership with Bluemessaging, developed for Cinemex, one of the largest cinema chains in Mexico.

The SMS Cinema Guide allows users to send SMS requesting information such as which movies are playing in theaters, premieres, times of sessions and information of the cinema of their choice, without the need of key words or special syntax (leveraging a system of language recognition). The service can be used anytime, anywhere. Fast, convenient, pioneering and differentiating.

The nominees were selected during five days by experts from 40 national and industry media, as well as analyst houses. This year’s finalists highlight the most innovative and successful apps, services, content, business models and technology from across the globe, with increasing representation from emerging markets such as Latin America and Africa.

The 2011 Meffys winners will be announced on July 7th at a special gala awards dinner hosted by international TV personality, comedienne & author, Ruby Wax.
