Media Groups

Media Groups face the challenge of differentiating in the marketplace, by providing engaging and impacting media experiences. Leveraging insights from long lasting partnerships, we support Media Groups to capitalize on mobile technology to reach, connect and bond with audiences in a personalized and interactive way while boosting revenues and results.

  1. Torpedão Campeão

    Vivo, Claro, TIM and Oi – the four major Brazilian mobile carriers – decided to took part of this campaign in order to increase SMS usage in Brazil, which has one of the lowest SMS penetrations in Latin America. To build up the use of SMS, we designed and implemented a large scale mobile marketing campaign – Torpedão Campeão - in partnership with Globo, the biggest TV Network in Brazil. Torpedão Campeão offered Brazilian mobile users the chance to acquire packs of 30 SMS at a discount and was endorsed by famous Globo stars Faustão, Cissa Guimarães and Adriana Colin who extolled mobile users on the virtues of SMS. Lasting for 3 months, Torpedão Campeão involved 23 million mobile users who subsequently sent over 115 million messages. At the peak of Torpedão Campeão, 3 million SMS per day and 4.000 SMS per second were sent. 

  2. Fox SMS Alerts

    FOX Portugal wanted to strengthen its brand image while increasing viewership and loyalty. To improve viewership, we developed mobile contests giving viewers the chance to win FOX merchandising as well as tickets to FOX exclusive events. To enhance loyalty, we launched free and paid SMS alert services sent one hour before the start of series’ episodes (Grey’s Anatomy and Lost). These contests attracted very high participation and generated a viral buzz around FOX Channels. SMS alerts were on average subscribed by over 25% of series’ viewers.
