Álvaro Roquette Morais was born in Lisbon in 1964 and is a lawyer and partner of the Law firm HAAG, sociedade de advogados RL.
Before entering this law firm Álvaro had a career in management in Portugal, Spain and Brazil were he had among others the positions of General Manager of Dun & Bradstreet Spain, Vice President of Telesp Celular (the leading mobile company in Brasil), COO and board member of PT Comunicações (the leading wire line telecommunications company in Portugal), Vice President and COO of PT International Investments.
In this last capacity he coordinated Group PT’s companies in Africa, Asia, Brazil and Eastern Europe as well as developed mergers and acquisitions within his New Business responsibilities. In these functions Álvaro was either President or Board Member of 15 companies around the world and supervised the operations of 40 companies.
Álvaro works as a business lawyer focused on M&A mainly in Africa, Brazil and Eastern Europe and sits in the advisory board of companies in various sectors as telecommunications, construction and consultancy.


Martim Menezes is a lawyer, and a member of TIMw.e. Group’s Board, having direct and actively participated in the growth and internationalization process of the Group. With a Degree in Law from Portuguese International University, he was admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association in 1995. With a vast professional experience in litigation, in the last few years he has been working in the Corporate Law area, having provided legal advice to several PSI 20 – Portuguese Stock Index – Corporations. He assisted those corporations in the definition of their business strategic plans and leaded multiple national and international operations. He is founding partner of CCA Advogados Law Firm, being head of the TMT department (Technologies, Media and Telecommunications), and has participated, as speaker, in several conferences and seminars regarding e-commerce, new technologies, intellectual property and media.


Pedro Marques Lopes has a strong background in the retail business. He helped to set up and manage the main retail companies in Portugal. Along his career, Pedro has also been involved in the banking, telecommunications and real state sectors. Nowadays he works as a consultant and political commentator.
Pedro graduated in Law and holds an MBA from Portugal's leading business school - Universidade Nova de Lisboa.


Vasco Abecassis Vasco was born in Portugal and educated in England and the USA.
Obtained a degree in Economics from Harvard University in three years (four year degree).
Following graduation from Harvard returned to Portugal and was recruited to officers training school and commissioned to Guiné-Bissau where appointed liaison officer in charge of foreign visitors by Governor General Arnaldo Schulz.
Immediately upon return to Portugal acquired the pharmaceutical company Sociedade Farmaçêutica Abecassis (SFA) which was technically bankrupt; before Vasco restructured and developed it to become the fifth largest pharma company in Portugal (IMS listing of 200 companies). After American Cyanamid Company acquired SFA, which became Cyanamid Portugal, he remained as General Manager.
Following American Home Product’s acquisition of American Cyanamid Company, Vasco was the only Cyanamid General Manager in Europe chosen to remain in position and, in Portugal, to lead the merger of the two companies; Cyanamid Portugal and Instituto Pasteur and manage the new company, Wyeth Portugal. As a result of the merger, Wyeth Portugal was the number one pharma company in Portugal.
Two years later appointed President Iberian Peninsula and two years after that Group Vice President Europe, Africa & Middle East (EMEA).
Simultaneously exercised several functions in international pharma organizations including PHRMA based in Washington DC.
