Vasco Abecassis is TIM w.e.’s Chairman since February 2009.
Vasco acquired the pharmaceutical company Sociedade Farmaçêutica Abecassis (SFA) which was later acquired by American Cyanamid Company becoming Cyanamid Portugal, where he remained as General Manager. Following American Home Product’s acquisition of American Cyanamid Company, Vasco remained in his position leading the merger of the two companies in Portugal: Cyanamid Portugal and Instituto Pasteur and managing the new company, Wyeth Portugal. Two years later was appointed President Iberian Peninsula and two years after that Group Vice President Europe, Africa & Middle East. Simultaneously exercised several functions in international pharma organizations including PHRMA based in Washington DC. Vasco has a degree in Economics from Harvard University in three years.


Diogo Salvi is one of the founders, and CEO of TIM w.e. He has a background in banking was closely involved in the strategic development of several leading Portuguese banks, and has worked alongside the most distinguished business consultants. Diogo was awarded an MBA from Portugal's leading business school - Universidade Nova de Lisboa.


Ricardo Carvalho is Managing Partner of TIM w.e.. He has worked in the technology and content business for 12 years as an entrepreneur. During 2002 and 2003 he acted as an independent consultant for Mobile Business, developing the strategy for Movensis in B2C areas and the SMS premium partnership with Portuguese operators. During 2000 and 2001 Ricardo was an advisor to Cofina for CRM and media & internet issues. Founder of the internet portal infordesporto.pt, he was responsible for the provision of sports content to pagers, mobile phones and internet.


António Fouto is TIMwe’s CFO, responsible for Accounting; Planning & Control; Human Resources, Treasury and M&A. He has spent most of his career in Portugal Telecom; first at SGPS, from 2001 to 2004 on strategy and business development area; then in 2004 (to 2008) he became Director of Financial & Administrative, Planning and Control and Quality at PT Contact. Moreover, he was also responsible for Sales operations and client retention department from 2006 until 2008, as well as Contact Cabo Verde Board Member. António has a management degree from Catholic University of Lisbon.
