TIMw.e is a Portuguese company that provides mobile content and services for entertainment, marketing and advertising, to mobile operators, media, advertisers and end-consumers, on a global scale.
Created in 2002, TIMw.e. begins its globalization process by going after other virgin but strong markets, like Latin America. In 2007, the company starts leveraging its distribution network and interactive marketing expertise, by launching new business units, with special focus on the recently created global mobile marketing agency.
Since the launch, the company has presented outstanding growth levels in terms of revenues, supported by its organic growth and globalization effort as well.
Employing 325 people worldwide, the company operates in more than 60 countries, trough 25 local offices, spread amongst the 4 major continents.
Despite the slight stabilization in terms of countries’ growth, concerning relative number of offices and employees, 2008 is another strong revenues’ growth year, reflecting greater efficient and final value added.
For 2009 many exciting challenges are expected, still maintaining the growth trend, now with a clear spotlight on the new businesses.
